Beeswax has been used for centuries to make candles.   The wax is a by-product of beekeeping and the wax comes from the honeycomb caping which is removed in order to spin off the honey.  As such the candles have a light honey aroma when you burn them and give  the most glorious golden light.   I love the smell and the romance of the link back to the past.  They are eco and sustainable

Beeswax candles are known for their clean and pure burn and for helping to clean the air.   This  is because the beeswax releases negative ions when they burn which binds to any positive pollutant ions - absolutely brilliant if you are trying to neutralise odours.    These candles are hand dipped and have a cotton wick.  They are dipped in raw beeswax which is coloured with a natural mineral dye
